If you are not retargeting your visitors on Facebook, you are missing out on sales and revenue!
In this article, I’m gonna give you a quick and easy understanding about how to start re-targeting your leads and visitors on Facebook to increase sales.
What is retargeting?
Unlike typical banner ads, retargeting ads are a form of online targeting advertising and are served to people who have already visited your website or are a contact in your database (like a lead or customer).
How do you do re-targeting on Facebook?
Step 1 – Click on the “Manage Ads” link on the left navigation after you are logged into Facebook
Step 2 – Click on the “Audiences” link on the left navigation after the Ads Manager loads.
Step 3 – Click on the “Create A Custom Audience” button
Step 4 – Click on the “Custom Audience From Your website” option and accept their terms of service
Step 5 – Now change the combo box to “People who visited specific web pages“, and enter your website url, set option to 180 days, set a name for your audience, and at least click on Create Audience.
Step 6 – Wait until your audience is populated…
Note: you need to have 100 visitors or more reach your site, who are also Facebook users before that option comes available.
Step 7 – After availability gets “Ready“, you’ll be able to create ads based on your custom audience.
A very simple process that any business owner or website owner can and should implement.
